Accessibility at Civic Roundtable

Civic Roundtable is committed to making accessible products and enabling our customers to comply with accessibility laws.

Our commitment

We understand that the organizations we support include people of different backgrounds, experiences, and access needs — so we strive to give everyone an opportunity to contribute. This commitment to accessibility for all begins with this site and our efforts to ensure all functionality and all content is accessible to all visitors. Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria. These guidelines not only help make web content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.

Our approach

To provide a high level of access to people of varying abilities, we have implemented the following internal standards:

  • Provide transparency into our progress towards building more accessible products.
  • Integrate accessible principles into our design and engineering practices, so accessibility becomes a pillar of our development process.
  • Ensure that our experiences are intuitive for all users, regardless of differences in sensory, cognitive and mobile abilities.
  • Deliver incremental improvements to our users over time, communicating changes once they’re available.
  • Regularly promote the importance and value of accessibility internally by way of our in-house accessibility experts.

Raising accessibility issues

Roundtable welcomes comments on how to improve the accessibility of our platform. If you encounter any issues, please let us know by emailing accessibility@civicroundtable.com.
