Civic Roundtable
Civic Roundtable is committed to making accessible products and enabling our customers to comply with accessibility laws
We understand that the organizations we support include people of different backgrounds, experiences, and access needs — so we strive to give everyone an opportunity to contribute. We also believe that accessible software works better for everyone, not just those who rely on specific accommodations.
Roundtable’s platform is WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA compliant, bringing us into line with widely held ADA and Section 508 expectations. To achieve this compliance, we partnered with a third-party firm specializing in accessibility audits to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of our platform. The audit examined our web application across multiple browsers and devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computers on both Windows and Mac operating systems. This rigorous, independent assessment ensures that our compliance claims are verified and documented in a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) we are able to share with our government partners via our Trust Center.
To provide a high level of access to people of varying abilities, we have implemented the following internal standards:
Provide transparency into our progress towards building more accessible products.
Integrate accessible principles into our design and engineering practices, so accessibility becomes a pillar of our development process.
Ensure that our experiences are intuitive for all users, regardless of differences in sensory, cognitive and mobile abilities.
Deliver incremental improvements to our users over time, communicating changes once they’re available.
Regularly promote the importance and value of accessibility internally by way of our in-house accessibility experts.
Roundtable welcomes comments on how to improve the accessibility of our platform. If you encounter any issues, please let us know by emailing accessibility@civicroundtable.com.
